a. Log-In

To Log-in to the GunRifleReload web site go to the Home Page and click on the blue LOGIN tab at the top of the screen. Enter your Firearms Licence Number in the Username field and then enter your Password and click on the “Login to Members Area” button.

Alternatively, you can log-in directly from the Members Area box on the top left hand side of the Home Page. Simply enter your Firearms Licence Number in the Username field and then enter your Password and click on the “login” button immediately below.

b. Log-Out

To Log-out of the GunRifleReload web site, go to the Home Page and click on the blue LOGOUT tab at the top of the screen.

You should Log-out after each session to ensure your account is correctly closed.

To list your item, simply click on the “Sell” link found on the blue header navigational bar. The listing process is split up into several main sections, notably:-

· Category selection

· Item Details

· Auction Settings

· Shipping and Payment

· Listing preview

· Listing confirmation

The listing process is developed in such a way that you are guided through every step seamlessly.

a. Category Selection

Choose the “Category” you wish to list your item in, by clicking on the displayed category that best fits your item. Your selection can be revised at any time by using the “Previous Step” navigation button.

b. Item Details

Enter your “Item Details”, including “Title” and “Description”. A full wysiwyg (What You See Is What You Get) editor is in place to enable you to use HTML descriptions.

c. Voucher Redemption

If you have a voucher code to redeem, this can be entered in the voucher code field.

d. Auction type

§ Standard Auction

This is a single quantity auction

§ Dutch Auction

Dutch auction enables you to list a multiple quantity auction. For example, if you have 100 pens to sell you can list all of these together in a single lot. Bidders will be able to select how many they wish to bid for.

e. Currency

All auctions must be listed in NZ Dollars.

f. Quantity

This field is only active if listing a Dutch auction. Please see above for an explanation of this listing type.

g. Auction Starts At

This requires you to enter the “Start Bid” or minimum bid you are willing to accept. You can also set a “Reserve Price” to ensure you do not sell the item for less than this amount. Please see below for more information on this.

h. Reserve Price

Enabling a “Reserve Price” effectively means you will not sell the item for less than the amount set. For example, you can set the “Start Bid” at 15.00 but only accept winning bids over 50.00. Should the highest bid be placed for 49.00, then the item will close without a winning bidder.

i. Buy Now (if available)

“Buy Now” allows you to set an amount you are willing to sell the item for immediately, without waiting for further offers. For example, you can set the “Start Bid” at 30.00, but offer interested parties the option to buy the item immediately for 100.00.

You can also list Buy Now only auctions. These auctions remove all bidding options, meaning the item listed can only be purchased for a set amount. To set up a “Buy Now” only auction you need to set the “Buy Now” value to be exactly equal with the “Start Bid”.

j. Offer-Range (Optional)

You can set a “offer Range” in which you are willing to receive offers. For example, if you set the price range from 15.00 to 100.00, interested parties will be able to offer you an amount within these brackets. You can opt whether to accept or decline these offers at any time via the Members’ Area.

k. Bid increment

This option can be used to set your own customised bid increment if preferred. Otherwise the system will automatically set a proportional bid increment.

l. Item featuring

The following options are available to you to highlight your listing. Note additional fees will apply for using these features. These will highlight your item on the site to provide the opportunity to attract more visitors:

§ Bold text

§ Highlighted background

m. Set start/end time

You can either opt to list your item right away and set a defined number of days for it to be live for, OR you have the option to define your own customised start/end time.

n. Private Auction

Private auction will hide the bidder’s identity on the “Item Details” page.

o. Image upload

To accompany your item you can either upload images from your local computer, OR enter the URL of an image(s) hosted elsewhere.

p. Media upload

In addition to images you can also upload media files. Please note only certain file types are supported.

q. Auto Re-List

For convenience you can opt to have your items automatically “Re-listed”. Options are available to allow you to select whether the item should be re-listed if unsold and how many re-list attempts should be made.

r. Shipping and Payment

You can set your “Shipping” and “Payment” preferences, including your shipping rates and available methods of delivery.

s. Listing Review

You can review your listing and make changes if required. Please note, you can still edit your listing once it is “live” via the “Members Area”.

t. Listing Confirmation

The final step provides you with listing confirmation.

a. Log-in to GRR

Before you can place a bid on any listed item, you must be a Registered Member of GunRifleReload and be Logged-in. (Refer to the “Registration” and “Log-In” areas of the Help section, for further information on how to Register and/or Log-In).

b. Select Item

Select the item you wish to bid on from the Home Page, or as the result of a Search, then view the “Item Details” page. There are two areas where you can enter your bid - one to the left of the item details and a second at the bottom of the page.

c. Place Bid

To place your bid simply enter the amount you wish to bid, e.g. 50.00 in the box to the left hand side of the item details. Then click on the “Place Bid” button. Please note, NO currency symbols are required. The bid will be placed in the auction currency, which will be NZ dollars.

NOTE; only use the box at the bottom of the screen to place a bid if you want to place a Proxy Bid/Maximum Bid. Refer below for further details on Proxy Bids.

d. Confirm Bid

Once you have entered a bid, you will be asked to review your bid. You will also be able to view details, such as the shipping conditions, before confirming your bid. Details of your bid can be amended before confirmation, by selecting the Back Arrow at the top left hand side of the screen and then making the required changes.

To confirm your commitment to enter into a Contract of Sale, simply click on the “Place Bid” button. If you do not wish to confirm your bid, then simply navigate away from this screen using the Back Arrow at the top left hand side of the screen.

Please note; CONFIRMED BIDS CANNOT BE WITHDRAWN.

If your bid is high enough to take the lead in the auction, a Confirmation Message will be displayed to you. However, if your bid has not taken the lead, whether it is because of a higher “Proxy Bid” or not meeting the “Reserve Price”, you will be invited to make a further bid.

To create your account, go to the “Home Page” and click on the blue “Register” tab from the header at the top of the screen, OR click on the “Register Today” icon on the top right hand side of the Home Page.

When registering, you will be asked to complete a short form which includes standard information such as your Contact Details; Firearms Licence details; Club Affiliations; etc.

The following fields need to be entered:-

· Name – Required field. Enter your full name as it appears on your Firearms Licence

· Address – Required field. Enter your full postal address

· City – Required field. Enter the name of the city or town where you live

· North Island/South Island field. Enter the province where you live to clarify your address

· Post Code – Enter your post code

· Phone Number – Required field Enter your phone number including the full STD area code. For mobile phones, enter the first 3 digits of your mobile phone number in the first field (i.e. area code)

· Date of Birth – Required field. Enter your date of birth in MM/DD/YYYY format. All Registered Members of GunRifleReload must be over 18 years of age.

· Email address – Required field. Enter your usual email address where we can contact you as required.

· Firearms Licence Number – Required field. Enter your Firearms Licence number. This will become your Username.

If you do not have a firearms licence, you can still register on GunRifleReload by entering ‘NoFAL’ followed by a 4 digit number, as you Username. However, you will NOT be allowed to purchase firearms.

· Password – Required field. Enter and confirm your password. Passwords should be a minimum of 6 characters, including a mixture of letters, numbers & special characters.

· Firearms Licence Endorsements – Required fields. Tick either the Yes or No tick box for each category. You can only trade in these categories if you have the appropriate endorsements on your Firearms Licence.

· Club Membership Numbers – Optional fields. Members are entitled to specified discounts.

· Firearms Licence Expiry Date – Required field. Enter the expiry date from your Firearms Licence.

· Tax Settings – Optional field. Enter your Tax Registration Number only if you want to apply for tax exemption.

· Registration PIN – Required field. Enter the unique 8 character PIN number displayed above, to confirm your registration. You DO NOT need to remember this PIN number.

· Direct Payment Settings – Optional field. This field can be used to record your PayPal address, if you already have a PayPal Account. GunRifleReload supports the use of PayPal as an optional method for the payment of its fees. You can register for a PayPal account at any time at www.PayPal.com These details can also be added later through the “Manage Account” section within the “Members Area”.

· Terms and Conditions acceptance – Required field. Check the tick box to confirm acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, which can be scrolled through in the separate window.

· Finally, click on the “Register” button to confirm your Registration

Once registration is complete you will receive an email confirmation.

Lists the last 5 bids placed and the last 5 auctions listed

b. Messaging

· Received – provides Buyer Details for successful sales

· Sent – Lists recent messages you have sent

c. Bidding

· Current Bids – Lists your current bids

· Won Items – Lists items you have won and shows the “Purchase Date” and “Payment Status”

· Invoices Received – Lists invoices received

· Watched Items – Lists items that you are currently watching

· Favourite Stores – Lists the “Stores” that you have identified as your favourites

· Keyword Watch – Lists the “Keywords” you are currently watching

d. Selling

· Open Auctions – Lists your auctions that are currently Open

· Items with Bids/Offers – Lists current Bids/Offers on items you have listed for sale

· Scheduled Auctions – Lists auctions you have scheduled for listing at a future date

· Closed Auctions – Lists your recent auctions that are now closed

· Sold Items – Lists items that you have sold recently

· Invoices Sent – Lists the invoices you have sent for the items you have sold

· Fees Calculator – allows you to calculate your estimated listing fees, based on the options you have selected

· Pre-Filled Fields – allows you to create a standard default template for your own auction listings, including Shipping Conditions. This avoids having to re-enter the same data for new every listing you make.

· Block Users – can be used to block specified users from bidding on your auctions

· Suggest a Category – can be used to suggest new categories for GunRifleReload to consider including in their site

e. Reputation

· My Reputation – allows you to view others comments about you

· Leave Comments – allows you to leave comments about a Seller that you have purchased goods from via the GRR web site

f. Bulk Application – currently for Admin use only

g. About Me – currently disabled

h. My Store – currently disabled

i. Wanted Ads

· Allows you to add new “Wanted Ads” or view your existing open or closed “Wanted Ads”.

j. My Account

· Personal Information – displays your personal details as recorded on GRR and allows you to update them to record any changes

· Manage Account – Shows your GRR “Account Balance” and allows you to top up your account when necessary

· Account History – provides the current balance of your GRR Account and allows you to enquire on all transactions over a specified period. Note there may be a limit on the number and age of transactions that can be viewed.

· Mail Preferences – allows you to specify what information you would like communicated to you via email

· Abuse report – allows you to report any abuse of your GRR Account to GRR

GunRifleReload aims to provide a price competitive service to its members and will always seek to ensure its fees offer superior value to its competitors.

GunRifleReload charges fees for listing items for sale, for wanted ads, and commission fees for successful auctions. Other fees may be charged if and when appropriate. In all cases the Seller is responsible for the payment of the fees.

a. Site Fees

A full break down of fees can be found under the blue SITE FEES tab at the top right hand side of the HOME page. The fees for listing items to auction, sell, trade or wanted depend on the listing options selected.

NOTE, ALL FEES ARE SHOWN EXCLUSIVE OF GST.

b. Store Fees

These are only applicable to Store listings

c. End of Auction Fees

These are commission fees payable by the seller for successful sales. The fees are a combination of percentages and/or flat fees depending on the sale price.

d. Dogs

NOTE - there is a separate range of fees applicable if you wish to sell Dogs.

a. Account fees

GunRifleReload members are expected to maintain their account in credit. Initially all new members will be given a NZ$10 credit to start their account. These funds can be used to pay listing fees. Once these fees have been used up, members will be required to top up their account before they can make further listings. Account top ups should be for a minimum NZ$10 otherwise GunRifleReload reserves the right to charge an additional NZ$2 fee to cover the additional bank fees levied.

To make a payment to your GunRifleReload account, go to the “Members Area” which can be accessed via the HOME page. From the “Members Area” on the left hand side of the screen, select “Manage Account” from the “My Account” list.

Enter the amount you wish to credit to your account under the “Credit Your Account” banner on the upper right hand side of the screen then click the “Proceed” button. From the following screen you will need to click on the blue “Proceed to PayPal” button regardless of whether or not you have a PayPal account. Note: you can still make payment via the PayPal payment gateway without requiring a PayPal account! You will automatically be redirected to the secure (https://) PayPal payment gateway. To make a payment via credit card without requiring a PayPal account click on the “Continue” button next to the “Don't have a PayPal account?” Use your credit card or bank account (where available). This is near the bottom left hand side of the screen. Alternatively, if you do have an existing PayPal account you can use the Login box near the bottom right hand side of the screen.

b. Sellers Commission

At the completion of an Auction, all Sellers are required to pay GunRifleReload the set fees for that auction, as listed in the FEES page.

Commission fees can either be paid by credit card or via your PayPal account, as detailed above in the payment of “Account Fees” section.

All arrangements for Buyers to pay Sellers for the items purchased are to be agreed between the parties concerned. GunRifleReload accepts no responsibility for these payments and is not able to facilitate such payments. In the event of any dispute GunRifleReload will assist to the extent outlined in out Terms and Conditions.

Note: you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay your GunRifleReload Account Fees or Commission fees, these can be paid via credit card using the PayPal payment gateway - without the need to sign up for a PayPal account.

PayPal is the recommended payment method used by GunRifleReload for the payment of its “Site Fees”. PayPal is a secure system of proven reliability to make payments via the internet. It is used by many online services, including eBay.

To use PayPal, you need to register on PayPal at www.paypal.com and create your own account. The PayPal registration process is simple and straight-forward. You normally use your email address as your account name and then select your own password. Once you are registered with a PayPal account, you can use this to top up your GunRifleReload account, OR use it to pay online accounts with any other web site that allows payment by PayPal.

Auctions where a “Buy Now” option has been included, allow you to purchase the item immediately for the “Buy Now” price, without having to place a bid. Some sellers offer such an option, which can be used at any time, until a bid has been placed that exceeds any applicable reserve price.

The “Buy Now” option will appear on the item details page, immediately below the standard sized picture of the sale item. You will be asked to confirm your commitment to buy the item now, by clicking on the “Proceed” button, before the sale is concluded.

Please note; CONFIRMED BUY NOW BIDS CANNOT BE RETRACTED.

A “Proxy Bid” allows you to place your “Maximum Bid”, which is the highest amount you are prepared to pay for the item listed. At all times you will only pay the lowest required bid should you win the auction. For example, if the current bid on an auction is 500 you can place a “Proxy Bid” of 2,000. Should you remain the only bidder you will only pay 500.00. However, should the item receive other bids, the site will continue to automatically re-bid for you, up to limit you have set (2,000 in this scenario) to ensure you remain in the lead. The increments are either set by the seller or applied proportionally by the system.

To place a “Proxy Bid”, enter the maximum amount you are prepared to pay for the listed item into the “Your Maximum Bid” box at the bottom of the screen.

Please note; CONFIRMED MAXIMUM/PROXY BIDS CANNOT BE WITHDRAWN.

A Confirmation Message will be displayed to you to advise “Your proxy bid has been updated”. If you are out-bid at any time, you will be advised by email for an opportunity to re-bid. You can get further information by returning to the “Auction Details” page for that item or by clicking on the link displayed on the upper right hand side of the screen.

The “Item Watch” feature lets you monitor any auction without having to place a bid on it. This feature means you can be kept up to date on how an auction is progressing and prepares you to place a winning last minute bid.

To use this feature, select the auction you wish to monitor. Then click on the “Watch this Item” icon near the top of the screen.

The “Keywords Watch” feature will notify you of newly listed auctions which contain the keywords you have selected. For example, if you were looking for a new CZ BRNO .22 you would enter in those keywords. Each time a new auction is listed containing those keywords, you will be notified via email.

To use this feature select the “Members Area” tab at the top of the screen, then from within the “Bidding Section” on the left hand side of screen, select the “Keywords Watch”. Then select “Add Keywords” and enter the keywords.

Members of GunRifleReload can also place “Wanted Ads” on the website for set fees.

To place an advert, select the “WANTED ADS” tab from the blue bar at the top of the Home Page. Then enter the relevant information for the item you require and include a photo if appropriate.

Click on the “Proceed” button at the bottom of the screen once you have entered all details.

Your account will automatically be charged for the cost of the advert

You can use this option to view all the items listed on the GunRifleReload website by a selected store name. Please note there may not always be any such listings available.
